Hello!
I’m Mr. McCann, originally from Mississauga, Ontario (I know, quite the move!). In the summer of 2023, I graduated from Queen’s University (Kingston) with a degree in Life Sciences and Education and packed up the car for a 9-day journey across Canada to the Hazeltons – a trip that was well worth it and one that I would recommend to everyone. In my spare time, you may see me on the ice at the rink as a Hockey Referee for local minor hockey or the Hazelton Wolverines. Additionally, you may see me exploring the world of educational technology, one of my passions.
Although I am relatively new to the school, one of my favourite memories so far is the Christmas Luncheon held at HSS annually. Such a wonderful tradition to be a part of, and definitely an experience you do not get within a bigger city.
