Originally I was born in Burns Lake and moved to PG when I was 4, where I grew up and graduated from PGSS high school. Always the travel bug I worked in the oil patch for 7 years, went on to live in Puerto Vallarta Mexico for almost 2 years. After coming home, I decided travel was in my heart and I continued on to sell high end art (think Picasso, Dali) on Cruise ships for a year and a half.
Once I felt I had seen enough of the world I came home to study in PG which is where my first son came into my life. We moved to Calgary when he was only a year old, where I became entrepreneurial and started my own Roofing and Construction Company. For 15 years I worked for myself. When Covid came into our lives I was on my way to Hazelton to visit friends and family and ended up staying full time.
Some of my favorite things… My two French Bulldogs, great perfume, smelling fresh cut grass, going for long drives to great places and spending time with my husband and kiddos!!
HSS has warmed my heart!! Seeing diversity among the students, community in the classrooms and obstacles turning into pathways to our future, have been some of my greatest memories! Knowing almost all the names in the school, this is truly a place where you get seen and heard!
