Every school has a PAC, a Parent Advisory Council, where you as a parent, can have your voice heard regarding the education of your children.
It is no different at Hazelton Secondary school: we also have a PAC.
It is worth everybody’s while to attend PAC meetings, to stay informed about school matters, upcoming need for help from parents or discussions about concerns and dreams for our school.
Because a school is not just a building where we learn math, English, Gitxsan or socials.
It’s a place where we learn about life, about friendship, about working and playing together, about our strengths and weaknesses and how to overcome adversity.
It’s a place where we grow from children into adults.
