HSS teachers are asking any families that have not yet heard from the child’s teachers and are interested in have a meeting with their child’s teacher to contact them either via email or by phone. Our parent/teacher meetings will be held Wednesday, November 25th between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. We are offering families different options for having the meetings. You are welcome to come into the school for an in-person meeting following our safety protocols, you may organise a meeting over the telephone by calling 250-842-5214 or, for the tech savvy, there is the option of doing the meeting over teams. Parent are also encouraged to set up appointments with both their child’s 1st quarter and 2nd quarter teachers. It is important to stay up-to-date with teachers so we can all work together to support your child to help them meet their goals for life after high school. Teacher look forward to seeing/talking to you tomorrow!
On Wednesday, November 25th, Hazelton Secondary School will be having Family/Teacher meetings between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Due to the pandemic, meetings will look a little different this year. Each home will be getting a call from an HSS staff member inviting you to set a time to meet with the student’s different teachers. These meetings can be done either face-to-face (following our safety protocols) or can be done over the phone.
Due to the fact that we have moved to a quarterly, families might not have had the chance to speak with first quarter teachers. We encourage families to book meetings with those teachers, as well as second quarter teachers. Even though the classes are finished, they will have information that could help your children going forward.
There will be early dismissal on November 25th and November 26th
If you would like, please feel free to contact teachers yourself via email. Teacher email addresses can be found on our Teacher Contact Page.
